WHERE TO WATCH THE 50TH GIRO DELLA LUNIGIANA
The week of the 50th Giro della Lunigiana is now underway. The race will get underway on Wednesday, September 9, preceded on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings by the fifth edition of the Giro della Lunigiana Donne.
The major new feature of this year’s edition will be the return of live video coverage, with more than 10 hours of coverage across the five stages. Wednesday and Friday will feature full-day live coverage.
The stages will be broadcast with commentary by Valerio Bianco, joined by Stefano Garzelli, Alessandro Petacchi and Giada Borgato. Coverage will be available on the Giro della Lunigiana’s YouTube and Facebook channels.
The live coverage schedule, stage by stage, is as follows:
09/09 – STAGE 1, LA SPEZIA-FOSDINOVO – 14:25
10/09 – STAGE 2, PORTOFINO-CHIAVARI – 11:00
11/09 – STAGE 3A, FIVIZZANO-MARINA DI MASSA – 9:15
11/09 – STAGE 3B, VEZZANO LIGURE-RIOMAGGIORE – 15:20
12/09 – STAGE 4, CASTELNUOVO MAGRA-CASANO DI LUNI – 10:30
The Giro della Lunigiana’s “historic” features are also back, from Lunigiana Caffè, which will go live on Facebook a few minutes before the start of each stage, featuring pre-race thoughts from the protagonists, to Lunigiana Tech, the feature curated by Alessandro Colò, which takes an in-depth look at every detail of the stage winner’s bike.
On Tuesday, September 8, we will also be live on Facebook from 17:45 for the team presentation in Lerici.
As for the fifth edition of the Giro della Lunigiana Donne, there will be no live video coverage, but the race will receive extensive coverage across our social media channels, including Lunigiana Caffè and regular updates on the progress of the race.
Both races will also be covered live via text on Telegram, through the RadioCorsa Pegaso Dirette Live service.
